Brian Hutchins joined the Edafio team in 2018 and serves as Chief Financial Officer, leading the delivery of financial services such as reporting, accounting, treasury management, budgeting, and internal controls. Brian is a Certified Public Accountant and brings 15 years of accounting and finance experience to Edafio. Before joining the team, he spent several years in public accounting as an auditor, beginning his career with the Little Rock firm of JPMS Cox, which founded Edafio. Early in his career, Hutchins spent several years in public accounting with Atchley & Associates, LLP, a firm in Austin, Texas before returning to Central Arkansas to serve as the business manager for Bridge2Rwanda, a non-profit which seeks to equip African high-school graduates to study abroad and launch their careers in Africa. Brian also worked with Westrock Coffee Company for several years as a Controller and Director of Finance and Accounting. Before joining Edafio, Brian led the Finance team at CFO Network, providing outsourced finance and CFO services to a portfolio of clients across the United States.
Brian graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is licensed in Texas as a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. This year he celebrates 20 years of marriage to his bride, Christy, and they have five amazing kiddos.
