Don Swartz

As Edafio’s Chief Operating Officer, Don has overall responsibility for internal operations, processes and systems in support of staff associates and customer services. As the newest member of the executive team, Don leads quality and productivity initiatives; spearheads the ongoing development of Edafio’s capacity and scale; and oversees and manages the integration of future acquisitions.

He brings more than 30 years of technology and operational leadership experience with regional, national, and international businesses — including Fortune 100 and 500 companies- and turnarounds in independent and private equity-owned firms. Don’s background speaks to the versatility of his leadership skills and comprises an impressive track record of building world-class customer service organizations and operationalizing and delivering complex technology capabilities. He has held executive positions at such wide-ranging firms as CompassMSP, Flexential, QTS, Tradeweb Direct, Freddie Mac, and Capital One, among other software, services and platform businesses. He is a rare leader in the industry by virtue of his command of the state-of-the-art in evolving technologies … while simultaneously demonstrating a keen sensitivity and facility for the human components of performance, motivation and morale. This unique combination of qualities makes Don an outstanding addition and representative of the Edafio mission, culture and core values.

Don earned his BSEE in electrical engineering from DeVry Institute and resides in Northern Virginia with his wife, Elizabeth, with whom he has two adult children, Christian and Tyler. Don is an avid runner, enjoys golf, and time on the lake and outdoors.
