North Little Rock, Arkansas, May 11, 2021 – Edafio Technology Partners —“Intelligent Technology, Powered by People” — today announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Director of People Operations Amy Beam, to the highly respected “Women of the Channel” list for 2021. This annual list recognizes the unique strengths, vision, and achievements of female leaders in the IT channel. The 2021 “Women of the Channel” list acknowledges women from all over the IT channel, including vendors, distributors, and solution providers.

The women honored on this year’s list pushed forward with comprehensive business plans, marketing initiatives and other innovative ideas to support their partners and customers, helping them through the uncertainty brought on by the global COVID-19 pandemic. CRN celebrates these exceptional women for their leadership, dedication, and channel advocacy.

A 20-year veteran in the IT industry, Amy Beam leads Recruiting and HR operations for all three Edafio locations as Director of People Operations.  She plays a significant role in scaling Edafio’s recruiting, onboarding, ongoing training, culture-building, and human resources to support associates, as the company continues its exponential growth path. Amy combines two traits too rarely found in a single individual in the industry: a love of people and an IT-focused career. Seeking the next generation of great talent, aligning individual and company goals, and implementing an optimal culture are key areas of responsibility. Amy has brought quality and innovation to all these initiatives, which have proven to have such significant strategic value to the business.

Among Amy’s accomplishments is creating an “Associate Focus Plan” utilizing feedback from Best Places to Work survey data and from input from quarterly roundtables with associates and Edafio’s President and CEO. She also developed onboarding processes for new hires to ensure that all new team members have a positive experience at Edafio Technology Partners — planning for an associate’s needs over their entire lifecycle, from hire to exit. Amy brings an uncompromising commitment to building a diverse and inclusive company to acknowledge and amplify the newest voices in a growing organization, often the source of the most important advances in the technologies supporting Edafio’s client services.

“Amy is all things people. Besides being wonderful to work with and respected by everyone in our company,’ said Brian Hutchins, Chief Financial Officer,” She has been instrumental in positioning Edafio and our associates for success through her leadership in the creation and implementation of our comprehensive associate development plan, transition to electronic personnel management, and a host of other contributions.”

“CRN’s 2021 Women of the Channel list acknowledges accomplished, influential women whose dedication, hard work, and leadership accelerate channel growth,” said Blaine Raddon, CEO of The Channel Company. “We are proud to honor them for their many accomplishments and look forward to their continued contributions to the IT channel.”

“Amy brings a passion for our future recruits and current associates that exemplifies Edafio’s culture and mission,” said Kenny Kinley, President and CEO. “Congratulations to Amy on being recognized by her industry peers at the Channel Company for this award.”

The 2021 Women of the Channel list will be featured in CRN Magazine on May 10th and online at www.CRN.com/WOTC.
