Mike Trickett, Vice President of Delivery

Douglas brings to his role as a Consulting Network Engineer at Edafio Technology Partners, a decade of experience in the networking and security realm. He leverages his accumulated experience in the design, deployment, and maintenance of complex customer environments, including data centers, sizeable multi-branch enterprise environments, and internet service provider networks for Edafio client networks. Douglas’ experience allows him to assist clients in getting reliable firewall security, wireless, and wired networking that is adequately scoped for each client’s specific needs, from sales to implementation and troubleshooting. In the enterprise realm, Douglas has experienced building personal data centers, refreshing entire networking infrastructures, reconfiguring wireless networks to increase performance, and deploying new networking infrastructures such as SD-WAN and dynamic routing. Douglas has shown a deep commitment to learning and mentorship. When not expanding his knowledge with hands-on experience, Douglas also dedicates time to learning through industry white papers and pursuing industry certifications in a wide variety of networking realms. Some of these include security (CISSP), wireless (ACMP), design (ACDX, CCS-ED), and routing/switching (CCS-EAII, CCS-EC). Douglas then takes this knowledge and shares it through mentoring younger engineers, thoroughly documenting environments he interacts with, and assisting in making quality standards for Edafio. Outside of work, you can find Douglas spending time with his partner and their daughter, taking a class of some kind, or reading up on some new interesting topic.
