Tell us a little about yourself.

I am originally from Louisville, Ky, but I have now lived in 11 states across the US, as far west as Juneau, Alaska and as far east as Charlotte, NC. My heart belongs in Seattle, though as I spent a decade there, now I am setting up shop in NWA, and I love it!!

Working in IT is my second career. I began my adult life as an executive chef for fine dining restaurants, including a cruise line, then moved into senior-level restaurant management. Nowadays, I am passionate about IT as I aspire to become a Senior Network Engineer one day. I constantly study in my own time and learn all I can while at work. I love my new career!

What brought you to Edafio?

I joined Edafio because of the people and culture, and I knew from the beginning that this company would be my success story!

What do you like to do most outside of work?

Outside of work, I love all things outdoors, sports, traveling, and cooking. I have traveled to 48 states, three countries and driven cross country six times. I am currently working towards visiting all 63 national parks.

What skill do you think everyone should learn?

I believe all people should learn customer service, conflict management, and how to receive constructive feedback. If we all knew these skills, I think we would live in a kinder world.

Do you have a motto or personal mantra that you live by?

The motto I live by is, “If you are not growing daily to become a better person, then you are not fully living… Always strive to learn and grow.”
