Sam Grubb Earns GMON Certification — Expanding Edafio Technology Partners’ Value to Clients.

Edafio Sr. Cybersecurity Consultant Sam Grubb has earned the highly specialized and significant GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON). This achievement recognizes Grubb’s mastery to deter intrusions and quickly detect anomalous activity. Obtaining the GMON certification further validates Grubb’s knowledge of defensible security architecture, network security monitoring, continuous diagnostics and mitigation, and continuous security monitoring.

Given that most businesses requiring this enterprise-level expertise would otherwise require accessing out-of-state-based firms, Arkansas businesses have a significant advantage that the capability is now available through Arkansas-based Edafio Technology Partners.

“By investing time and resources that better equip our associates and teams to be able to service our clients using a defense-in-depth approach to cybersecurity services is just another example of Edafio’s commitment to our client’s success,” said Valerie Moring, Healthcare and Cybersecurity Team Lead

Grubb, who joined Edafio in 2019, serves as a critical resource and subject matter expert responsible for ensuring world-class security monitoring, interpretation, and remediation skills into every thread of their IT canvas.

Previously, Sam worked as a contractor for the National Guard teaching Information Assurance courses and a teacher for Jacksonville High School as their Cybersecurity Education Specialist. An experienced presenter, educator and author, Sam is co-author of the book, How Cybersecurity Really Works: A Hands-On Guide for Total Beginners, published by No Starch Press. A longtime resident of Arkansas, Sam lives in Centerton with his wife Shannon and their son.
