Valerie Moring, Dee Lollie and Kinsey Tickell from Edafio Technology Partners were named to the prestigious “The Women of Technology list.”  Connected World awards this honor each year to celebrate the role of women as trailblazers, changemakers and innovators.  Among the hundreds of nominations submitted by industry and researched by the editorial team, a panel of past “Women of Technology” award-winners judges nominees based on their dedication and contributions to helping women, technology, companies, and communities prosper and progress through innovation, mentorship, and business transformation.

“The Women of Technology” awards provide a platform and voice for women in leadership, allowing young women contemplating entering or motivated to grow in the industry to identify role models not only look like them but who exemplify initiative, resilience and boldness in leading the charge in technology innovation at a time when it is most needed. The women named to this elite group demonstrate both brilliance in digital and technology transformation and are world-class leaders in attracting, motivating and developing people.

Women of Technology

In an industry still under-represented women leaders and an overall decline in women in the workforce as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is more important than ever to promote opportunities in the industry and to commit to more opportunities for women to achieve leadership positions in an equitable workplace environment for all. The network of women in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) facilitates a powerful, merit-based route to leadership positions and the opportunity for commensurate career progress and rewards.  Recognizing women who are moving up the ranks acknowledges the creative influence women bring to technology.

“It is remarkable, and such an honor that three women from Edafio Technology Partners are among the ‘Women of Technology’ and IoT Award winners, said Melissa Swann, director of marketing, “and we the management team and whole company couldn’t be more proud of them.”
