Today, we are delighted to introduce Dee Hastings to Edafio. As an industry veteran, Dee Hastings comes to us as our Channel Enablement Director, a new position created to generate growth opportunities through partners and indirect channels.

What are your name and title, and what does your job entail?

Dee Hastings, Channel Enablement Leader. I build and develop resellers, and partner channel’s to expand our market and grow the business.

What brought you to Edafio? 

The opportunity to build something from ground level. My initial interactions and perceptions of the Edafio team. The culture and vision for the future were very appealing. I felt compelled to join the team and lead the charge to build and grow an indirect channel.

Tell us a little about yourself.

I’ve been married for 25 years with two children, 19 and 22. I’ve lived in Arkansas for 23 years and call Fayetteville home. I started in the Technology Industry in 1988 and have worked with various services and products over my career. Having spent eight years in Channel managing and developing large distribution partners. Identifying and bringing on new channel partners was always my forte, and I am excited to have this focus at Edafio. My previous role before joining Edafio was at Cox Business, where I served as Arkansas’s Healthcare and Banking rep. I feel like I’m returning to what I love in this industry, and I look forward to working with this exceptionally talented team.

What do you like to do most outside of work?

My husband and I take our RV out every chance we get in the Spring and Fall to enjoy Arkansas’s natural beauty and excellent hiking trails.

What skill do you think everyone should learn? 

The power of meditation and creating mantras to help you grow and evolve.

Do you have a favorite newspaper, newsletter, book, blog or podcast?

I read a variety of news sources, blogs and educational podcasts. I’m a fan of John Grisham and Nicholas Sparks’ books.

Do you have a motto or personal mantra?

Present circumstances don’t determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start!”

What upcoming technological innovation will dramatically impact the industry in the next five years?
