Business Development Executive

JOB SUMMARY:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Executive to join our team in Eastern Oklahoma. This individual will be responsible for business development, new account acquisition, achieving sales targets, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction within an assigned territory. Important activities include anticipating client needs by proactively gauging client requirements, responding to client requests, preparing proposals, and developing solutions from available offerings.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years of proven success in solution-based selling
  • Consistent top performer
  • Knowledge of sales or technology
  • Disciplined in the use of tools for forecasting and sales activity tracking
  • Proficient with MS Office application

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with managed IT services, systems integration, hosting, subscription software services, IT management all relevant
  • Client entertainment experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Successfully prospect new opportunities via established relationships, channel partners, and general networking
  • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape, market pricing and strategy
  • Account Planning, revenue forecasting and opportunity management
  • Close sales to new clients
  • Work closely with other Edafio teams
  • Participate in trade shows and local area networking events
  • Responsible for business growth within assigned accounts/geographic base
  • Strong skills in prospecting for new clients
  • Able to sell through pricing compression and maintain appropriate margins on new sales
  • Demonstrate knowledge of a process for developing and managing a territory, including forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
