MS365 Cloud Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

The MS365 Cloud Engineer’s primary responsibilities include developing and implementing policies for using cloud services, managing requests for new technology, establishing a secure cloud environment, and ensuring appropriate availability of services, also known as uptime.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Passion for technology with at least 3-5+ years of technical experience with increasing responsibility
Hold one or more of the following Microsoft Certifications:
1. Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-100, MD-101)
2. Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate (MS-203)
3. Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate (MS-700)
4. Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Voice Engineer Expert (MS-720)
5. Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate (MS-300, MS-301)
6. Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate (MS-500)
7. Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-100, MS-101)
8. Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400)
9. Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600)
10. Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140)
11. Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200)
12. Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300)
13. Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Information Protection Administrator Associate (SC-400)
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
Excellent people skills with the ability to handle difficult personnel situations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Strong troubleshooting skills
Experience implementing Microsoft Office 365 / M365
Direct experience migrating from on-premise to cloud storage (SharePoint online, Teams etc.)
Direct experience with on-premise Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and Hybrid deployments

Full time /Exempt / Standard Workdays & Hours / Some on-call may be required.

Physical demands:

Must be able to sit, stand, and bend for the duration of shift. The position is mainly sitting, with occasional lifting of work equipment such as laptop, or driving to the work site to meet with the client(s).

Provide technical expertise in Microsoft 365 services:
1. 1. Teams
  2. SharePoint
  3. Exchange Online
  4. Defender for Office 365
  5. Defender for Endpoint / Business
  6. OneDrive
  7. Azure Information Protection
  8. Multi-factor Authentication
  9. Single Sign On
  10. InTune
  11. Autopilot
Maintain accurate documentation processes for areas of responsibility
Experience administering mobile device monitoring (MDM) with Microsoft InTune
Work with Security Team to review and respond to security events and alerts
Prior experience migrating to M365 and/or implementing a hybrid solution, as well as proven ability to evaluate the current environment
Azure AD Connect in an enterprise environment
Familiar with Microsoft 365 ecosystems including:

1. 1. Licensing
  2. Best practices
  3. Appropriate solutions to meet business needs

Resolve reactive support request escalated from services delivery team
Supporting the migration of AD user objects and other data to M365
Creating and maintaining documentation for the mail flow and network design, IP address and port traffic data, and service communications information documentation for the M365 environment
Implementation of advanced functions of Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance center
