Project Manager

We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Arkansas.

Summary of the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for guiding cross-functional teams to deliver multiple concurrent projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop project plans that align with their goals. You will also be responsible for managing resources, tracking progress, and identifying and mitigating risks.

Required Skills:

  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • 3+ years’ experience in IT project management or process engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, or other solutions delivery framework.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated management, leadership, decision-making, and team-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Track record of planning and delivering cost effective results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to evaluate and manage risk.
  • Proven project leadership skills with the ability to multi-task, delegate and prioritize tasks.
  • Professionalism in dealing with all levels of management and staff.
  • Self-initiative to take on tasks and make decisions based on risk/reward.
  • Experience in balancing supply and demand of resource requirements

Preferred Skills:

  • Intermediate to Expert-level experience with tools such as MS Project, Jira, Visio, or Lucidchart are a plus.
  • Experience with Six Sigma, Lean or other process improvement methodologies.
  • 10 years of experience leading teams with a history of transformation.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects and initiatives on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Identifying, analyzing and improving IT processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Manage project budget and resource allocation.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines.
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
  • Provide direction and support to project team.
  • Assist test team in creating test plans and testing efforts.
  • Assist technical team in design and development tasks.
  • Communicating and collaborating with stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results.
  • Document processes and develop related flow diagrams.

Required and/or Preferred Education &

Industry Related Certifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • PMP Certification is preferred

Travel: 

0%- 20% local travel with occasional remote travel

 

Status: 

Full-time / Exempt / Standard Workdays & Hours / Some OT may be required

 

Physical Demands:

Must be able to sit, stand, and bend for the duration of shift. The position is mainly sitting, with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, such as laptop, server equipment, and, driving to the work site to meet with client(s).
